Aerial Opportunities L.L.C. began in 2009 as an aerial photography company. In 2015 we felt there was a huge need to bring nighttime aerial advertising to Eastern Iowa and the surrounding area. We are the very first company based in Iowa that is offering this very unique type of advertising. Our Pilot Spence began flying in 2000 and obtained commercial pilots license with instrument and multi-engine ratings. He also is a certified airframe and power plant aircraft mechanic. Our Aircraft We utilize a Cessna 172 which is the most produced aircraft in the world. The 172 is an excellent platform to provide superior aerial advertising. Our newer 172 has an improved fuel injected engine for greater performance and lower operating cost. Our glass cockpit provides increased safety and reduced workload for our pilot. Our Sign Mounted to the bottom of the aircraft is our giant 36 feet wide and 8 feet tall sign. It has 252 bright LED lights that are computer controlled allowing us to scroll messages just like you see on airships like the Good-Year blimp. This computer controlled system allows us to completely customize how the message is delivered. With capabilities to scroll, flash, change direction and speed of messages.
