We live in a "timing and selection" culture. We are set-up from the time that we are children listening to Family Money Stories at the knees of our parents or grandparents for financial anxiety. Then, as adults, we begin reading newspapers, watching TV, logging into websites, and listening to pundits who are constantly pushing us to play our role in this "timing and selection" culture. The media is in a pitch battle for our eyes and ears and Wall Street wants nothing more than to sell us the latest fad product that resolves a crisis that either has just or is nearly passed. All the noise leaves us both pulling our hair out in frustration AND less financially successful. In relation to this world, we at Mindful Money Digital are counter-cultural... We dare to be different (optimistic even). We believe that there are simple behaviors that get us there. These things are out there, everywhere, around us. But, they are drowned out by the noise.
