We founded Lawvex on the simple premise that law should be less frustrating: for everyone – clients, lawyers and staff. That's where the name "Lawvex" came from – to take the frustration (the "vex" -ing part) out of law. We were the first in our region to use a brand and to operate with a trade name instead of the partners' last names. We did this because we believe the law firm name should communicate our heart and be about the clients first, and not just about the lawyers.

William Redell is one of the most recognized and respected criminal defense attorneys on the Central Coast of California. For over 20 years, William has been successfully defending individuals charged with crimes. William Redell attended UCLA for his undergraduate studies, prior to attending law school at the Santa Barbara College of Law. Since becoming an attorney in 1996, William has worked as both a public defender, gaining years of valuable trial and negotiating experience, and also in private practice. William Redell has handled thousands of criminal cases on the Central Coast of California from the most basic to the most complex. This experience and knowledge is the foundation for the success William currently enjoys in the Santa Barbara, Lompoc, Santa Maria, and San Luis Obispo Courts.
