Orange-County.Biz was created by a couple of locals who were looking to advertise in a space that would showcase their work to potential clients online. We (Evelina & Brenda) thought we could easily and effortlessly accomplish this, but no online service could give us the right combination of elements that we sought for our clients, as a frst impression of our artwork. We didn't want to advertise in a space where a client's search would deliver the equivalent to a stack of generic resumes. It's been reported that 90% of information transmitted to the brain is visual. Visuals are processed 60,000X faster in the brain than text. Most searches are also now being done on the cellular phone; a confned space for type but a thriving one for logos, designs, pictures, and video. As artists, we have an eye for detail and a fair for aesthetics and frustrated by the limited options offered to us online and in print, Orange-County.Biz was born. With “OC.Biz”, we are aiming to create visual portfolios of businesses that have the ability to link to your main media/store, and that meet technical specs for search engines. We want to be a search springboard to your website, so to speak. And, we want to do it in style. Evelina and Brenda are local Orange County girls that want to connect the local community to the local business, with the added bonus of being on a global platform (the internet). We wanted to provide a service that would be primarily visual, affordable, and with no monthly dues. If you are wondering “why did I spend all that money on a fancy cool logo only to advertise my business online as a text listing?” - so are we. We are not aiming to create generic listings, we are aiming to market your business in a way that sets you apart from the competition.
