The main character is Michael Zachary. ------------------------------------------- At fifteen years old, Michael was as much a warrior as he was a farmer. He has to be; a wilderness farm on the edge of King Krydon's kingdom was a remote and dangerous place to live. His father trained him well and he was very good with a sword, but he was even better with a bow. Michael could hardly contain his excitement when he was allowed, as the youngest member of a patrol to go to the far side of the wilderness.
