Operating since 1957, Sterling Analytical Laboratory in West Springfield, Masschusetts is an analytical testing lab specializing in water, wastewater, soils, solid and liquid fuels, including biofuels, for a wide variety of parameters. The professional relationship between our fuel and environmental departments allow us to utilize a synergy of analytical expertise that is unique in the industry. Our Fuel testing department provides expert analysis of parameters including proximate (BTU, moisture, volatile matter, ash, and fixed carbon), Ultimate (carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, sulfur and oxygen), Ultralow sulfur in fuel, Chlorine, Fluorine, Flashpoint, Mercury and other metals. We also analyze for Halogens, TOC in solid or liquid samples, and metals including Silica, Platinum, Gold, and Tungsten. TCLP and SPLP analyses are provided for soils, sludges, and liquid samples.
