To make accurate parts you need an accurate machine. Using a Renishaw ML10 Laser system, I check the positioning accuracy of your CNC machine and then adjust parameters to optimize positional accuracy and reduce backlash. Every calibration includes full documentation of "As Found" and "After Adjust" data plus a Certificate of Calibration providing traceability. CMMs require annual recertification to verify their accuracy. CMM calibrations include cleaning (external and internal), verification of X-Y, X-Z and Y-Z geometry, and Laser calibration of X, Y and Z axes. Each calibration includes full data for linear positioning and a Certificate of Calibration which includes geometry data and traceability. I have over 28 years experience in CMM and CNC calibration.
