Alaskan Born and Raised Mike was born in Fairbanks in 1956; he grew up in Anchorage and spent most of childhood summers in mining camps. He attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage and Fairbanks for a B.S. degree in Mining Engineering (1979), an M.S. in Mineral Preparation Engineering/Mineral Separation (1982) and an M.S. Degree in Engineering of Mines (1995). He obtained his Professional Engineering license in 1989. Mike has been a successful miner, fisherman, land man, land developer, cabin builder, construction worker, prospector, service oiler, and University Instructor. He offers safety training for the mining, petroleum and construction industries here in Alaska. Mike started his business as a safety trainer in 1984 and became the premier MSHA OSHA instructor here in Alaska. In 2005, Mike married Margaret and together they have conducted classes and helped Alaskans be safer in these industries. Mike holds the following Instruction Certifications: Certified MSHA Instructor Certified OSHA Instructor Certified ATSSA Flagging and IMSA Work Zone Instructor Certified IMSA Work Zone Instructor Offering Competitive and Quality Training Mike is committed to offering the highest quality training courses to keep Alaskans safe as they navigate the mining, petroleum and construction industries. In case when not hiring, placing, and orienting new employees, she often oversees the current employees satisfaction & productivity and ensures that the workplace is running efficiently.
