I was a tenant at this property in December 2022, I feel that they have unreasonably kept most of my security deposit. In my opinion (disclaimer for legal reasons), they are one of those landlords that has a very narrow interpretation of “normal wear and tear”. They withheld a total of $421 from my $500 deposit, some things they take issue with include and are not limited to: replacing drip pans, filling in nail holes, and dusting blinds. They charged me $145 for cleaning bathrooms, $126 for cleaning kitchen, $75 for “Touch up paint”. According to their maintenance checklist, every room in the unit needed new paint! Ask me for my move out video, where their employee nitpicks everything. You can make your own judgment if the charges are reasonable. I am suing them to get my deposit back, which is a huge hassle. They also want me to take this comment down as part of the settlement.
