UCDE is the only organization of its kind, combining the fundamentals of traditional cheerleading with the dynamics of black collegiate cheer, hip-hop and professional dance techniques. UCDE's mission is dedicated to enriching, encouraging, and inspiring young minority youth in our community by obtaining funding to assist in increasing the knowledge, skill level, and popularity of the sport of cheerleading and particularly the UCDE style of cheerleading. UCDE is devoted to changing the mind set and social structure relating to the monetary value attributed to the sport of cheerleading and dance in minority communities, at HBCUs and ultimately in the professional cheer and dance arena.
