Established in 1977 Started by William C. Culmer as a day job while he was working graveyard shifts as a police officer for the City of San Mateo, CA. He quickly realized that he could do more good for citizens of California by providing monitored security and fire alarms then as a police officer. In 1980 he quit the police force to pursue Hue & Cry full time. He has since grown to over 55 employees and more than 8000 monitored customers. His 2 sons and daughter are also involved in the company.
