Julie Giordano, Fine Artist, has been doing murals, portraits, drawings as commission work for more than 29 years. Her Mural work has been featured in "Better Homes and Gardens" Magazine and "Detroit Monthly" Magazine. Julie had been a teacher for twenty years and would mentor gifted students by bringing them on painting jobs with her in order to get them trained for real life, not just artistically but in other areas of employment. Many went on to get better jobs because of their experience. Bringing teens one at a time was not enough impact so Painting with Patience Project was begun in order to assist in the training and education of more teens at one time. The results were fantastic, not only for the teens and the volunteers but also the communites we reached.
