I work with schools, or write for educational publishers, when the goal is improving the teaching of reading, writing, children's literature and the use of action research in teacher professional development. My goal is improved, meaningful, authentic and joyful learning in K-8 classooms. My publications, both scholarly and texts are towards those goals.
