OMC! Rescue (Only Maine Coons Rescue) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. We are a 100% volunteer - run, breed - specific rescue group that specializes in the Maine Coon cat breed. We rescue Maine Coon mixes from shelters and unwanted situations. On occasion, we rescue purebred (PB) Maine Coon cats (meaning the cat has papers registering it as a purebred). Our cats are lovingly cared for in Foster homes until placed into their forever homes. Although we cannot guarantee the percentage of Maine Coon in each cat that we rescue, we ensure that each "Coonie" cat represents the breed in a satisfactory manner.
