I fell in love with photography in high school when someone asked me to take pictures at the home volleyball games to be published in the school yearbook and the local newspaper. I worked for PCA International where I received my Portrait Artist Certification. Then in 2003, I started The Picture Lady portrait studio. I wanted to get away from the "assembly line" type portrait studio and be where I could really get to know my customers and take the time I felt is needed to take really great portratis. I also believe that having your portait taken should be fun.
