An idea is born: How did I get started? My background began in skincare in 1992, where I worked as a cosmetics consultant and makeup artist for a major beauty retailer. After that, I had the opportunity to work with a cosmetics chemist and co-create products for Green Planet Potions. A natural beauty product line that sold to over 3,000 stores nation wide including Nordstrom, Anthropologie and Whole Foods. The concept shifted from strictly wholesaling products, to a Day Spa & Boutique conceptualized in Olympia, WA, then came to fruition in Dallas, TX. And since then, I've had the experiences of being a Body Care Manufacturer, Spa & Boutique Owner, and eventually a Nationally Licensed Esthetician. When in Dallas and Seattle, my spa's received a lot of press and was even voted The Best place to get a facial. It was an amazing experience. Through this process I've grown to understand the importance and knowledge of ingredients, their freshness in nature and effectiveness on our skin.
