I make string quilts.My quilts are hand tied and are very durable.String quilts are considered to be the workhorse of the quilt family.They are usually made from scraps of material but can also be made into a particular color scheme. The quilt that is shown was made from 32 strips of muslin with scrap material pieces sewed onto them.It is a oversized Queen 96"x 102". These quilts are very durable I love making them as I know they are quilts that will be handed down to the next generation.
