As an LMT Heidi has held license in the state of NH since 1994. Prior to her massage training she worked in the home health care field as an LNA performing personal care for the elderly and/or infirmed including end-of-life hospice care. Her training in massage started at The Dovestar Alchemia Institute in Hooksett, NH, and finished at The North East Institute of Whole Health in Manchester, NH. Every 2 years the State of NH requires continuing education for license renewal. There are many types of therapeutic training to choose from. In her 16 years as professional Heidi has studied further in Geriatric massage, including a Compassionate Touch workshop with Dawn Nelson, and the Daybreak Massage techniques with Deitrich Meisler in Sebastopol, California.
