The Montessori Public Charter School of Flagstaff Cedar Campus serves students in grades 7th and 8th. Our middle school program exceeds the curriculum guides of the Arizona State Standards, while continuing to adhere to the school philosophy of "meeting the needs of the child.” Our small student body is by design, so that every student has a personal educational experience which allows them to learn self-advocacy skills to collaborating with peers and teachers.

For this reason I strive to offer a program that will enrich your child???s development while putting your mind at ease. I will do my best to assist your child in developing important values such as: good manners, caring, sharing, patience, responsibility, as well as communication and teamwork. I believe that children learn best through interaction, touch, and play. We will implement these important values throughout our day. I also work on skills such as sign language, learning the alphabet, shapes, colors, and numbers. It is my goal to offer your family the quality childcare experience you deserve.

Children of varying ages work together, stimulating both academic, creative, and social growth. Each child works and learns at his own pace, and according to his/her own capacities. In the Montessori environment, the teacher prepares the classroom, observes the children, directs activities, and offers work according to the readiness and needs of each child.

The Eagles Crest a preschool/daycare program that functions within Flagstaff High School. The center is licensed by the state of Arizona and has a contract with DES (Department Of Economic Security) to provide daycare service for low income families. We provide daycare services for our surrounding community. Our program works congruently with the Early Childhood Development Class and provides hands on training for the students registered for that class as well as for students that take Child Care Lab classes. The center runs three classrooms infant, toddler and preschool. The infant room has 7 infants to one teacher with the average of 4 to 5 student aides per class period ages 6 weeks to 12 months. The toddler room has 14 toddlers to 2 teachers with the average of 3 to 5 student aides.
