We are now taking applications for children at our day care. We are a loving mother daughter team that has a lot of love and care to offer your child. Me- Amanda- has experience in the medical field. I was previously a CNA in very high paced departments at a local hospital,which included the coronary intensive care unit, the maternity ward, and the cancer floor. I am now however now a stay at home mom of two amazing children.I have also worked in a daycare for refugee children who come from traumatic pasts and little no english speaking. My partner/mother-Pam- also has experience in the medical field as a CNA. She has 8 children and 18 grandkids. She is very compationate and has that grandmotherly love but the young persons energy. I am a state registered childcare home. I am certified in CPR and First-Aid. I am a mandatory reporter. I am child-net certified and QRS level 2. I believe children learn through play and should be played with as much as possible. I enjoy playing with the children and seeing them learn new things and develop new skills. I have transport to Cattell Elementary and Madison Elementary here in Des Moines. I have a fenced in front and back yard that we use daily.
