Small Wonders has a rich history providing child care in the Carson Valley area. The Singer family began out of their home. Although the initial license was for 12 children, the business quickly expanded and became eligible for the maximum of 17 children for a home daycare in Nevada. The combination of David's business management experience and Wendy's education, specializing in early childhood development, made for the perfect family business. The Singer family has also been active in the community. Mr. Singer is a former head coach of the wrestling team at Douglas high school and served on the Nevada Child Care Advisory Council. In 2019 he was nominated to co-chair.
