Montessori Children's Experience Center, located in Commack, New York, is a private Pre-School dedicated to providing a quality education in a warm loving environment. The unique curriculum has been designed based on the Montessori Method in order to best prepare your child during these formative preschool years. Montessori Children’s Experience Center, MCEC, gives your child the competitive edge with a unique learning program designed for preschoolers. Through Montessori they discover that they possess the determination, capability and skills to learn, providing a foundation of self confidence that can serve them for the rest of their lives. MCEC was founded in 1998 by the Director and Head Teacher, Jyoti Kanodia. She was first introduced to the Montessori Method as a student at age three. Having Montessori as the foundation for her education, she dreamed of one day establishing a Montessori preschool. Prior to founding MCEC she worked as a Montessori Teacher at a local Montessori school for over eight years. Soon after teaching she opened Montessori Children’s Experience Center. With over 20 years of Montessori teaching experience, Jyoti Kanodia remains as an integral part of the program as Head Teacher. Ms. Kanodia holds CDA Credentials as well as Certifications from Association Montessori Internationale and London Montessori. She is CPR and First Aid Certified and a Member of the Childcare Council of Suffolk County. The facility is licensed through the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
