Friends Child Care & Preschool has successfully provided day care and educational services for over 30 years. Our Director, Patricia MacKenzie, has been both a Kindergarten and Preschool teacher. Miss Pat, as she is known to the children, is certified in First Aid and CPR and is on the premises at all times. She also hold current certifications as a Child Development Associate (CDA) and National Administrator Credential (NAC) and has a Degree in Art. Our program is New York State Registered and offers a strong foundation in pre-math and reading readiness - better preparing your child for success in Kindergarten Growing minds and bodies need and deserve healthy food. We serve nutritious organic fruits, vegetables and whole grains. For additional safety, all food is cooked using non-metallic glass pots, and baking pans lined with parchment paper instead of aluminum foil - this prevents the leaching of metals that could affect your child's brain development.
