I have 1 to 5 ratios in my home. My infants and children are taught American Sign Language by my mom who is born deaf, I teach Spanish as a second language to the children. We do lots of play-learning where children are taught math, social skills, emotional skills, self-concept, gross motor and fine motor skill and lots of creative arts. We encourage curiosity, discovery and problem solving which allows children to growth and development a positive self-image. Children are motivated to learn when they have opportunities to make choices in their environment that is enriching and stimulating it sparks their imagination!
