I love my job, I enjoy meeting with professional Beauticians, Barbers and Dog Groomers. In doing my job I helps others do their job. I also know that I make a difference in others’ lives with the work I perform, when returning the scissors back to them, they test the scissor open and close, their expression, and feeling the difference right away. I am in no way FAST but I repair, replace parts as needed to restore the shears back to be the best they can be. At end of the day, I feel great and satisfied with my days’ work. At one time in my life, I chased the world and took it all on. Today as I go to the different business, I see the quality of work that is being performed and hear stories about their last experience. I see things like missing parts during service, wrong cutting edge (angle) and just thrown together due to speed and the next customer. Base on that I made a decision not to chase the world making sure I have all the correct parts and do my best on every scissor I sharpen. I use the right equipment to maintain both convex and bevel edges without destroying the radius of the Japanese shear's blade.
