We use a Treyco 2000 clipper sharpener for a consistant finish on both the cutter and the blade surface. Both are ground for the same amount of time to minimize excessive material removal, to you that means more sharpenings per set of blades as the average material removal is from .001 to .0015 of an inch. (This does not apply to refurbishing excessivly worn or rusty blades) We also use a Lapmaster 15" flat lap table to achieve a razor sharp mirror finish surface on larger animal blades. Our reconditioning services include rust removal and regrinding of excessivly worn blades. (We do not recommend using any combs with the outside teeth missing as this could injure yourself or your animals.)
