Each piece of furniture we craft at Hunt Country Furniture goes through multiple steps in the finishing process. One by one, each is hand-sanded and hand-rubbed numerous times to enhance the patina of the wood. It is then stained as necessary in several stages. With our painted furniture, additional steps are taken such as “rubbed-through edges” and optional “distressing” to give each piece the appeal of an aged original.
