I work for both the freight broker trying to move their load as efficiently as possible and for the trucker seeking a fair rate for his services. I understand that the customer from where the freight is originating is trying to move their freight at a resonable price in an effort to thrive as a business, that the broker who accumulates this freight through bidding provides an invaluable service to the agent who is searching for freight, and that the trucker who eventually hauls the freight possesses an expensive piece of equipment that requires constant maintenence and fuel. All of these factors drive cost of moving freight nationwide and my grasp of these factors allow me to interact effectively with both clients and truckers.
