We are a local, family-owned business (husband/wife team, Ken & Ashleigh Harris - Michigan Mushroom Market). We hunt, find, pick, BUY, cook, eat, process, preserve, and SELL choice wild edible mushrooms. Ken is a Certified Wild Mushroom Expert in the State of Michigan, and we are legally able to identify and sell particular species of wild mushrooms. Ashleigh processes a product made with several varieties of the mushrooms we collect throughout the season, Wild Mushroom-Herb Garlic Butter. The butter is prepared in a licensed commercial kitchen, and we hold a food-service license for product preparation in this regard.
