Live Love Bake is owned and operated by cake designer, Lindsay Holdorf. Founded in 2009, Live Love Bake makes custom cakes and cupcakes for every occasion. Lindsay, head baker at Live Love Bake, is a graduate of Western Illinois University and started designing cakes as a hobby in 2008. Due to the demand for her unique designs, Lindsay decided to go into business for herself and Live Love Bake was created. Lindsay’s philosophy on wedding cake design is that every cake – whether it’s for a small or large ceremony – it should be both beautiful to look at and even better to eat. In November 2013 Lindsay open her first stand-alone location in the Jordan Creek Town Center in West Des Moines. In 2015 after years of success in Des Moines Iowa, Lindsay and her husband Chad had the opportunity to move to San Francisco and thoughts this would be a once in a lifetime chance. In September of 2014, Lindsay made the tough decision and packed up her store and moved to the bay area. She decided to go back to her roots and focus creating elegant and beautiful wedding cakes. Today, Lindsay is starting all over again in Marin County and wants to bring her heartland designs and flavors to the bay area.
