Since the age of six, Alisha Smith has had a love for the Arts that was first inspired by her sister. Now, more than twenty years later, Alisha is the founder of D'Lish Cake Co. Holding a Master's Degree in Education from Cabrini College, Alisha began her career as an educator in 2005. Her love for baking grew, and she often treated her colleagues to freshly baked cookies, cupcakes and cakes. She joked that one day she'd own her own cake company. In August 2009, Alisha began selling her cakes to coworkers and friends in Atlanta, GA. Soon her love for decorating led her to leave her full time job teaching to pursue her dream. In 2012, Alisha officially founded D'Lish Bakery (& Cafe) in SHippensburg, Pennsylvania.
