The Bakery Restaurant is a family owned full-service restaurant and bakery located in downtown historical Jefferson, Texas, next door to the Excelsior Hotel and across from the Jefferson Hotel. We serve breakfast and lunch seven days a weeks from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sat-Sun 7am-5pm. The only time you will find us closed (except in extreme situations) is on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and Dec. 26th. We also keep a pastry case full of cookies, danishes, turnovers, seven layer dessert bar, muffins, strudels, flips, and brownies - our Sinful Brownie is "heavenly" - a must try.
