Limited Edition Artisan Furniture crafted from Original 1937 Golden Gate Bridge Handrail - Historic material repurposed into functional works of art, we create Limited Edition Artisan Furniture from original steel that was placed on the Golden Gate Bridge during its construction in the 1930's. Specifically, our designs are crafted from sections of pedestrian handrail that were removed during the Bridge's handrail replacement in 1993. Each design is handcrafted and part of a Limited Edition production run, and each piece is numbered and comes with a Letter of Authenticity. Each piece is unique due to the characteristic imperfections etched into the steel by the Golden Gate's wind and salt air. Therefore, no two furniture pieces are alike.
