Lone Star Book Rescue is a mobile used book dealer and book donation pickup service based in Conroe, Texas. We come to homes, apartments, churches, estates and offices in Conroe, The Woodlands, Willis and nearby communities to pick up boxes of books, CDs and DVDs from your porch or driveway. Every load is sorted by hand. Clean, in-demand titles are listed for sale online in our used bookstore so they can find new readers and help fund our operations. Select items are donated to local senior communities and other organizations. Damaged or outdated items are responsibly recycled whenever possible to reduce waste. We specialize in large collections, estate cleanouts and downsizing projects. Our goal is to make it easy to clear out shelves while keeping as many books as possible in circulation and out of the landfill.
