Riley James, a published author, screenwriter and former South Florida criminal defense attorney − writing under a pen name − draws from an expansive knowledge of contemporary life, politics and the war on drugs. "First Lady Blues" is the first in a series of stirring thrillers.
"Einstein's Daughter," was originally a screenplay that placed as a feature semi-finalist in the Vail Film Festival, first place/ runner up in the Long Island International Film Expo, finalist in the Woods Hole Film Festival, semi-finalist in the Moondance Film Festival and several other film festival venues. Two producers, one an academy award winner, are reviewing the work after seeing the USA Today/ Kirkus book reviews of "Einstein's Daughter."
In 2010 the author co-wrote a "sci-fact" script with Louis G. Friedman, a veteran (30 year) production manager/line-producer with such films as "Wolverine" "Titanic" "Revenge of the Jedi" etc. (see IMBD for more details on Louis). Titled "The Telomere Incident," the script has been entered by Louis in the 2012 PGA (Producers Guild of America).
The novel "Profile," (The Write Deal, 2012) was first penned by the author as a screenplay. That script received glowing coverage from the famed Los Angeles literary agency, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and is currently under review by a name New York City film director.
