Ruby Burke is an inspiration to all who have survived any type of challenges in their lives. Ms. Burke's faith in God, her ability to overcome challenges through her faith and her ability to help bring closure to others has earned her great speaking privileges. She has mentored to 100's of young ladies on the importance of: dressing properly, taking pride in their appearance, bullying, respecting themselves, etc. She has also been a guest speaking on several radio programs as well as the Abused Persons Program in Montgomery County. Her book, Survivors Emancipation Day 2nd Edition has stories of survival and these stories have inspired so many people, women as well as men. She is currently working on her next book which will consist of survival stories from men as well. Ms. Burke's book has been used as a tool to help young ladies who are having "tough" times either at home, school or just in general.
