Founded by husband and wife team John and Jerri Hammond in 1996, Outside-In, located in Aptos, CA, was created to bring together a unique variety of home, garden, bath and kitchen products from around the world. The Hammonds travel to distant locations, touring small family-run factories, searching for high quality pottery, textiles and more to offer their customers. Outside-In Kids opened in early 2009. What was once a smaller offering within Outside-In, the Hammonds recognized the growing demand for gifts and accessories as their long-time customers were becoming parents and grandparents.
