Dr. McGaughey completed his fellowship at Duke University Medical Center, and has board training in general Hematology/Oncology, and significant experience in autologous and allogenic (including cord blood) stem cell transplantation. His particular clinical interests include stem cell transplant, breast cancer, leukemia, lymphoma, head and neck cancer. He is currently the Director of the Stem Cell Transplant Program at Virginia Oncology Associates.
