The Heritage Inn's building has been around since 1920. It used to be the Murat Hotel, named after Murat Halstead, the man the town was named after. Steve's mother and father bought the hotel when Steve's father retired in 1990. Steve's mother cleaned the rooms and Steve's father did the books. Now it is Steve's turn to take over the business. With the help of his mother, they intend to keep the atmosphere as close to home as possible.
