Inspiracion Flamenca was started in 2008 by Julia Chacon. Dedicated to propagating quality flamenco in the Americas, Julia's company employs professional dancers, singers, and guitarists to offer a range of shows from small scale events to large theater productions at home or abroad. Julia may also be contracted on an individual basis. Workshops are available for those interested in flamenco instruction. Julia can come to your town and work with local musicians or can bring Inspiracion Flamenca to perform and teach in your area. A professional dancer since 1998, Julia has performed as a soloist for Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana and Maria Benitez Teatro Flamenco. She has performed across the USA, in Spain, Mexico, and Colombia. Her choreography has appeared in China and across the States.
