SoundHill Audio Productions is located in Knoxville, TN. The company was founded in 2004 by (pictured right) Garrett Hill. Originally titled Garrett Hill Sound Services, Garrett decided that the company needed a "makeover" due to the recent expansion of services. Now offering Mobile DJ Services and Cheerleading Music Mixes (CheerMix), a more formal company name was needed to accommodate Garrett's partner DJs and Voice Professionals. Garrett wanted to keep his name in the revised title, but struggled to come up with anything that "clicked". In a last ditch effort, Garrett simply tried rearranging the current words in the business name (Garrett Hill Sound Services) in hopes of finding something that worked. Eventually, "Hill" was placed after "Sound" and thus, SoundHill was born.
