The Jukido Academy was established in October of 1999 in Palm Coast, Florida. It is the longest running martial arts school in Flagler County, Florida. Our school provides instruction in authentic martial arts for realistic self-defense. This means, in part, that our school does not teach jujitsu and karate as forms of sport for tournaments and various martial arts competitions. Rather, students of all ages learn to apply this arts in real life critical self-defense situations - be it a mugging, child adbuction, or rape situation. It truly is a realistic approach to self-defense - taught in an enviroment that values and honors the traditions of authentic martial arts. The Chief Instructor of our school is Sensei George Rego, who is a direct student of the founder of Jukido Jujitsu.
