Brookings is home to the best ocean salmon fishing in Oregon. Each year, more salmon are caught in the ocean out of Brookings then the rest of the Oregon Coast combined. Capt. Andy Martin is a native of Brookings and grew up fishing these local waters. He has more than 30 years experience fishing the ocean out of Brookings and the Chetco, Rogue and Smith Rivers. We fish from a custom, 26-foot Alumaweld power boat, which comfortably seats six passengers. Our river trips are truly world class. We offer drift boat and jet boat trips on the Chetco, Smith, Rogue and other nearby rivers, as well as Coos Bay, Bandon and Winchester Bay. One of Andy's customers caught the modern day river record from the Chetco, a 65-pound king salmon. Each year customers catch salmon to 50 pounds and steelhead to 20 pounds on the Chetco with Andy.
