Here’s what you need to know about Skydive Lancaster: All Skydive Lancaster instructors are USPA trained and certified. Collectively, we have completed tens of thousands of jumps. We adhere to strict FAA standards for aircraft safety and equipment maintenance. Safety is our #1 priority – we operate a well-maintained Cessna 182 airplane and our skydiving equipment is maintained by licensed and certified FAA Parachute Riggers. A tandem jump is the best way for you to experience your first skydive. Before the jump, you will receive roughly 30 minutes of ground school training where you will learn the basics of skydiving, such as how to properly exit the aircraft, maintain proper body position during free fall, and how to safely land. Many first-time skydivers tell us that they felt less nervous and completely at-ease because our instructors took the time to answer their questions and address any concerns that they had.
