John Lesko, Manager of Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home for almost a decade, is pleased to announce he is now the owner of Norwalk's longest established funeral home, located in the center of beautiful Historic Norwalk at 5 East Wall Street. John is a fifth generation Funeral Director and is honored to provide his continued dedication to serving Norwalk and its surrounding communities. His family began their dedication to funeral service in 1909, when they transitioned from the livery providers of carriages and hearses, to becoming licensed funeral directors. With caring dedication, from father to son, teaching the next generation the professional and caring tradition of serving families at a time of need. We are humbled and proud to be the first Sixth Generation owned Funeral Home in Connecticut. John and his staff strive for excellence when providing service, comfort and care to families at a most difficult time.
