Each of these Damascus knives is hand crafted by skilled knife makers to be 100% unique. No two knives will ever look the same. Damascus steel is made by layering two or more elements of iron and steel and forge welding them together. This is done by stacking the pieces and hammering the two together while the entire piece is at a high temperature. Stretching out the welded piece and forge welding it back onto itself results in multiple layers making the unique pattern.
