Forth Floral has been a family business in Northern Wisconsin since 1900 when Peter and Lena Philipp came to Rhinelander. The young couple immigrated from Luxembourg and put down roots on Brown St. in the center of town. Their instincts proved right and their business thrived. Their daughter, Julia and her husband, Arthur Forth bought the business in 1928 and renamed it Forth Floral. Their daughter, Leona, and her husband Marv Schumacher came into the business in 1958, followed by their daughter Ruth.and her husband, Henning Hempel, who now own and operate the business. Presently, Forth Floral offers its customers a spacious and modern shopping area along with 20,000 square feet of greenhouses. We are a full service florist and we grown most of our own blooming and garden plants.
