In the works since 1976 and now available to the public, The Apple Barn Hard Cider Company offers hard ciders crafted on site. Unlike many other hard ciders, Apple Barn takes special care to retain as much of the fresh apple cider taste as possible. Apple Barn Hard Cider Company uses a sterile filtration method rather than full pasteurization. This allows the cider to retain clean, smooth, crisp aspects rather than the cooked apple flavor sometimes found in ciders from other makers. Hard cider and slushie samples are available for visitors to try local varieties including Red Lemonhead, a strawberry lemonade flavored hard cider, or BlueBarb, blueberry and rhubarb blend. All hard ciders are on tap for fresh growler fill or bottle purchase.
