At Royal Skeins Alpacas we believe in the small farm and the idea of keeping industry in America. Alpaca fiber is used for MANY things ie, clothing, garden/weed barriers, boot inserts, rugs and purses. The alpacas are raised here, shorn here and the fleece is processed in America. We started our farm in 2009 as a college fund for our daughter. Since then we have learned that there is much more to this industry than breeding and selling. We are excited about the future with the alpacas and about making this beautiful resource available to all. Our goal is to produce high quality animals with excellent fleece that will be made into product. We also will help others get their fleeces out from their barns and garages and into the marketplace.
