Bearstone Horse Cookie Co. is located in rural Washington State. Company founder Kip Briggs was looking for something better to feed to her horses besides the current treats that were available on the market. She set out to make her own horse cookies and with some help from Country Magazine and their readers, Kip developed her basic treat recipe, Bearstone Bites. Her horses loved her treats and a company was born. Kip's treats have developed from the first recipe to three recipes now in production; creating 17 treat products including Christmas Stockings.
